WHY INSECTS ARE SO SUCCESSFUL?

  • Insects are successful due to their unique features and environments
  • They also have a upper advantage due to flight or increased speeds

INSECTS BODY

  • They have body advantages to such as their heights or defensive parts like a shell
  • They also come with defense mechanisms that can be used as a last minute reflex

GENETIC ADVANTAGES

  • They have adapted over time and along with genetic advancements they now quickly can dictate their environments and adapt to different temperatures and restrictions to items

DEFENSIVE MECHANISMS

  • They are gifted with defensive mechanics and defensive methods to make up for their small body’s that make them vulnerable they were gifted with exoskeletons, and very protective shells

REPRODUCTION

  • Insects usually have the fastest birth rate which some insects make baby’s for a whole day which means they are more publicized and that’s how so many species were born due to the speed of reproduction

LOCATIONS

  • Location is the first thing a insect should determine when they start fending for themselves that’s another key to success because they have different species in all different areas which allows them to spread globally which increases their population.

COCKROACHES

  • We observed cockroaches and their senses for about 3 days and here’s what I found interesting. The way they use their senses and antennas was very fascinating to me with blinded vision they still managed to get around to their destinations and how they use their reflexes such as hissing and how they used their speeding abilities to escape dangers. Lastly they know that their vision is impaired so the have developed sticky coating to their legs through genetics to not fall off or get stuck to unknown areas or platforms.
