what is insomnia?

A sleep disorder that makes it hard falling and/or staying asleep.

there are two types of insomnia.

  • Primary: A person w/sleep problems without any health problems
  • Secondary: A person w/sleep problems with health problems

the symptoms

  • Difficulty falling asleep
  • Waking up too early in the morning
  • Feeling tired upon waking
  • Waking up during the night many times
  • Feel grouchy, sleepy, and be unable to get things done 

DIAGNOSIS/TESTS
There are no tests for insomnia due to the fact that it is a sleep disorder but, doctors ask questions and do sleep studies to determine if you have insomnia.

  •  Lifestyle changes
  • Good bed time habits
  • Change rooms apperance
  • Get CBT( cognitive behavioral therapy)
  • Special Insomnia medicine

There are multiple support groups and it allows them to share thoughts
