Inspiring the Next Generation: The GetMakered Project

Published on Dec 07, 2015

The GetMakered project is a collaborative attempt to connect people to new technology and inspire them to learn more and become engaged with the underlying technologies that make the magic happen. Combining Maker magic and Clouds, we give students, youth of all ages tickets for a ride into the world of technology. We try to break thru “we’re only users” mentality and supply the gateway drugs and experiences to the next generation of innovators. By combining unique interactive experiences that showcase new disruptive technologies in ways that are inclusive, non-threatening and empowering – we can ensure that the next generation does more than play games and fly drones, and instead begins to understand that building the blocks that connect all their toys and social interactions can be just as stimulating and rewarding.
