Installing home Security Cameras
Collect materials needed to install the system
HAZARD: Make sure work area is clean and clear of obstacles
Worker sets up ladder & ensures it is secure
Climb ladder with tools (use of tool belt)
HAZARD: be sure the ladder is on stable/level ground
Mark the screw placements & pre drill holes for screws.
HAZARD: Do not reach far while on ladder
Clip wires from camera to nearest window.
Check camera is securely in place & climb down ladder
Check system connection is secure
HAZARD: Make sure power is off when connecting wires
Corrective action: Have a spotter to assist when on the ladder
Corrective action: Employees required to complete Online ladder safety training
