PRESENTATION OUTLINE

Interests and Hobbies

  • I love swimming and was fortunate enough to swim for MSU during my undergrad
  • After I finished college I decided to get back into the sport and coach it. I did that for three years before stopping this year
  • I really love going to the theater and seeing musicals/plays. My favorites are Hamilton, Phantom of the Opera, Book of Mormon

What helps me learn best?

  • Individually: I really like to have whatever I am studying printed out. For some reason I struggle when it comes to reading the text online, hence why I printed out the readings we needed to do.
  • Group: I think when all voices are included and people are willing to listen to others ideas it makes me feel comfortable and open to participation as well as I feel invested into the material more and with retain that information

Where Do I teach?

  • I teach in the city of Chicago in the neighborhood of Hermosa.

What Brought me to where I am today?

  • I have always had a deep love for history ever since I was younger.
  • In middle school, and high school, I had some amazing history teachers (Mr. Stack, Mr. Brunson, Mr. Henderson) that really showed me how awesome history is!
