We decided to look at the top two competing phone categories. IPhones vs. Android. We first looked at the amount of units sold in the last 7 years. And noticed that within the last 7 years, both have quite an interesting history. Starting with Iphones, we noticed that the first year it was quite popular, and going into the second year it went down and then starting going back up. I Phone - 2008

  • Known as the I Phone 3G
  • It Changed from the original I phone by introducing IOS.

  • Known as the I phone 3Gs
  • It offered a better 3.2MP camera that could now record videos as well as take photos, included extra storage options and voice control for Siri.

  • Known as the I Phone 4
  • A New Flat Design
  • Had high-resolution Retina display (640 x 960 pixels) that showed the rest of the world how it was done and a superior 5MP camera

  • Known as the I Phone 4s
  • There was really no change besides the ability to launch SiRI.

  • Known as the I Phone 5
  • The I phone 5 is taller it measures 4.87 inches as opposed to 4.5 inches on the iPhone 4S, it is the same width at 2.31 inches and is thinner than the iPhone 4S, the iPhone 5 is 0.30 inches thick where as the iPhone 4S is0.37 inches thick.

  • Known as the 5s
  • The iPhone 5S boasts a number of new features on the inside. iPhone 5S is the only iPhone with Touch ID, a fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button so you can securely unlock your phone just by touching it. The camera is also improved with wider pixels for higher resolution photography, True Tone flash that accurately calculates the lighting.
  • The I Phone 5c doesn’t have the same features it just has the multi colors to choose from.

  • Known as the I Phone 6/plus
  • The I phone 6 was a big success by introducing a bigger screen with the 6 and plus. Plus a LED camera that takes pictures that can see everything including a scratch/cut.
