  • Depends on location
  • Lower tide zone has cooler temps
  • Middle tide zone is mostly filled with cool water
  • High tide zone is warmer due to direct contact to sunlight
  • Around 62 degrees Fahrenheit

  • Mostly flooded
  • High saline environment
  • Most animals won't survive due to water abunduncy
  • Has rock pools with seaweed and fish

MIDDLE TIDE

  • Submerged for periods of time
  • Temperature is less extreme
  • Shorter direct sunlight
  • More diversified
