Failure of the Treaty of Versailles

  • Ended war between Germany and the allies
  • Blamed Germany for the war and imposed heavy debt on them
  • Major factor in the start of WW11

League of Nations

  • First Worldwide government to help the ongoing problem of not having world peace
  • Many looked at the League of Nations following the turmoil caused by the Versailles Treaty

Global Depression

  • There was a global economic crisis from the not so smart political decisions made in WW1
  • Unemployment, housing, and prices all took huge hits during this time
  • Countries also struggled to pay war debts which cost them big time in the long run

As you can see these all had major causes when it comes between the wars and many could not handle it but had to find a way to as the next war came shortly after.
