In court this excuse can be used to reduce years in prison.

Sociopath: a person with a personality disorder manifesting itself in extreme antisocial attitudes and violent behavior and a lack of conscience
Psychopath: a person suffering from a chronic mental disorder with abnormal or violent social disorder

ANTISOCIAL DISORDER
A mental disorder where a person shows constant disregard towards right and wrong and ignores the rights and feelings of others.
Symptoms: arrogance, impulsiveness, failure to plan ahead, lack of remorse.
Examples of serial killers with antisocial disorder : Ted Bundy, John Wayne Gacy and Charles Manson

BRAIN STRUCTURE
Neuroscientists believe the orbital cortex is involved with “ethical behavior, moral decision making and impulse control”.
They also say how that the orbital cortex could be functioning incorrectly and putting “a brake” on the amygdale.
