This is why intolerance is so disliked. Racism and those kinds of things has made any kind of interlace into bigotry. Even if you just tell someone they shouldn't do something, they will tell you to mind your business, in a lot of cases.
What I believe this is saying is that anyone who has a good understanding of right and wrong can be intolerant of that which is wrong. Yes, you should tolerate people's religious choices and anything like that. But, you should not tolerate things that are wrong. This can be as simple as someone budging you in line, or complicated, like a friend choosing to do drugs.
This is more misunderstanding. People almost always mistake intolerance for bigotry. But, the difference in bigotry is not tolerating something because you don't like it, and being intolerant because you're looking out for someone.
