Did you know that there is a mythical city called Atlantis? Well there is and I'm going to tell you about it!

Plato is a scientist that studied Atlantis for years and years.
Plato describes Atlantis as an island larger than Libya and Asia put together.
The lost City
- Atlantis had very advanced buildings.
- It was protected by the god Poseidon
- Who made his oldest son Atlas king and named the island after him.
Atlantis is sometimes called "The Lost City."
Plato says that Atlantis was taken underwater by a hurricane in one day and one night.
Others think Atlantis was taken underwater by a flood, tsunami, or other natural disasters.
Whether or not, Plato believed his own story.
His purpose of making up the story about Atlantis seems to have been to boost his own ideas of a perfect world.

Some say that Atlantis is real. Some say that it is just a myth.
We'll never know for sure if Atlantis is for real or just a myth!
People to this day are still searching for Atlantis and its remains.
Scientist have found some evidence that Atlantis might be real.
People also say that Atlantis is in Bermuda. But Atlantis can be anywhere in the world.
