SILVER CARP

  • Has the potential to cause enormous damage to native species
  • It feeds on plankton required by larval fish and native mussels

GIANT BURMESE PYTHON

  • They are moved places to where they are not welcome
  • Taking up residence in the wetlands of Florida
  • They are among the largest snakes in the world up to 26ft long
  • Top predators in Florida

RABBITS

  • Britain's estimated 40 million rabbits cost than 26m euros a year in damage to crops
  • Hated as pests
  • They gave them birth control to keep them from not having babies

CANE TOADS

  • They come from Central America and South America
  • They are taken to other places, by cane growers to be spread
  • Move 40 to 60 km per year

KUDZU

  • Known as the vine that ate the south
  • It's a perennial trailing vine that can up to 1 foot a day and as long as 98 ft
  • 1 single root crown can produce as many as 30 vines which become hairy and woody and expand

KILLER BEES

  • From Africa and first found in southern Texas
  • Negative impact on honey production
  • Lives in tree hollows and rotted logs

BEAVER

  • From North America in Tierre del fuego
  • They have sublime tail impact on landscape and local ecology

  • They carry a disease that's deadly

FEREL PIGS

  • Much more destructive than regular pigs
  • Brought to the us as domestic pigs from Europe and asana
  • Raise swine population

STINK BUGS

  • Emits pungent odor when it's disturbed
  • Use piercing sucking mouth parts to feed on leaf and fruit tissue
  • Mainly on the plants that are at risk in California
