  • Soft bodies
  • Thick muscular foot
  • Take in oxygen through gills or lungs
  • Some have shells

SPONGES

  • Very simple animals
  • Have many pores in their bodies
  • Water moves into a cenral cavity and out through a big opening at the top
  • They get food and eliminate waste through the flow of the water
  • Specialized cells and oxygen from water

ARTHROPODS

  • Jointed legs
  • Segmented bodies
  • Some have wings
  • Have exoskeletons
  • Breath through gills or air tubes

  • Have long tube like bodies that are divided into segments
  • Simplest organisms
  • Lond digestive tube that runs through inner body
  • Take in oxygen from the water through the skin

ECHINODERMS

  • Have arms that extend out from the middle of the body
  • Have tube feet that take in oxygen
  • Have spines
