LED (LIGHT EMITTING DIODE)

  • An led is a particular type of diode that convert electrical energy into light
  • The led was first produced in October 1962
  • An led is present in objects such as a cars brakes or a bulb

SAFETY IN THE TECHNOLOGY ROOM

  • Never run around as it can cause an accident
  • Always wear PPE(personal protective equipment ) when using machines such as (bandsaw,pillar drill etc..)
  • Don't use any machines if the teacher isn't present
  • Make sure you have no loose materials when using machines
