Iowa’s landforms consist of mountains, lakes, rivers and plains. There is 28 mountains in Iowa but the biggest is Hawkeye point, the mountain is 1670 feet above surface. The Mississippi River and Missouri River go through Iowa. Iowa also has way more rivers. Iowa has different types of plains, there are The Dissected plains, the young drift area and there are the drift plains. The drift plains are the biggest plains in Iowa.

The climate of Iowa is sometimes cold and sometimes hot but it’s average temp is in the 60s. Iowa is hot, in the summer it’s 71°. In the winter it it is 21°. The coldest temperature ever recorded in Iowa is -47°. It also has been very hot in Iowa, once it was 118°. Iowa also gets a lot of snow and rain, it usually gets 27 inches of snow and 26 inches of rain. So in conclusion Iowa is a great place to enjoy the weather

Iowa’s resources come from minerals, crops and farm animals. A very important farm product is corn. Iowa is the biggest corn producer in the nation. Iowa also has a lot of soy beans. Iowa also has the most hogs in the nation, there are 24,000,000 hogs in Iowa. Iowa has lots of limestone, Portland cement and sand and gravel. So if you like bacon you should go to Iowa!
