ROLLER COASTERS

HISTORY

• Roaster coasters were based off of ice sleding
• Ice sledding was created by Russians
• They had to train them in order to ride the sleds
• French created the first roller coaster like we know today

HOW IT WORKS

• Upwards hills are the only time a roller coaster is pulled
• Kinetic and potential energy are used for the rest of the track
• Running wheels, friction wheels, and normal wheels keep the coaster running
• Air compressed brakes stop the coaster at the end

SAFTLY

• Main issues if the coaster are caused by-
• Lack of maintence
• Wrong calculations and measurements
• Health issues ignored

FUTURE

• In the future roller coasters could be more-
• Quick, tall, wide, and safe
• The cars may even be made differently to do
• Spin faster, or even do terrifing "tricks
• To add excitement and fear to the coaster
