"We sell iPhones in over 100 countries. We don't have an obligation to solve America's problems. Our only obligation is to make the best product possible."
-Apple executive

Inputs are mainly from Asia, with some from Europe and a few from America

The US runs Apple, and invests money to get products from the cheaper countries, like China

SITUATION

Both the inputs and factories are concentrated in China. It's easier and cheaper to have everything close together.

Changing technology makes it easier for products to be in China, and it easier to transport them to the market.

TRANSPORTATION

Products are mainly transported by plane

The products have break in bulk points at airports, when they go change from truck to plane and back again.

They have just in time delivery, the inputs come in right before they are needed.
