Chapter 1- Childhood
Iqbal was born in 1983.
Iqbal was only 4 years old when his mom and dad sold him into slavery to pay off a $12 debt. Iqbal worked 14 hours a day and got paid 3 cents a day.

Chapter 2- Escape
At the age of 10, Iqbal escaped from child labor. Iqbal helped over 3,000 Pakistani children that were in bonded labor to escape to freedom and, he made speeches about child labor all around the world. Iqbal decided to receive an education during this period, and completed four years of schooling within two years.

Chapter 3
Death
Iqbal was faintly shot in Muridke on April 16, 1995,shortly after returning from a trip to the U.S. He was 12 years old when he got shot. Some people say he got shot by a farmer.
