POPULATION

• Iran's population is about 77.4 million
• Iran's population would be only about 4% of the US population

RELIGIONS

• Most of the population of Iran are Muslims mostly Shiites. But some of the population are Baha'is which is a monotheism religion that was found in Perisa in the 19 hundreds.

LANGUAGES

• In Iran most people speak Perisan.

ISSUES

• There is a lot of discrimination against the Baha'is faith. People who are Baha'is are stripped of their education, tourtured and sometimes even killed, and these acts of violence are unpunished.
