Cultural customs and traditions

• Most food eaten there is rice, soup, or other grains. Because vegetables and meat is hard to come by. There weddings have 7 steps, that can be combined. They are Mashaya and Sharbet, Engagement, Nishan, Mez al Sayed items, Henna Evening, Wedding Celebration. Iraqi's dress very modest, men don't normally wear tank tops, and shorts. And women normally wear an outfit that covers most of there body.

There have been many organizations that help Iraqi immigrants live a healthier and safer life. Some of these organizations include Preemptive Love , World Vision ,and Save the Children.
