- She had been working as a nurse when the Germans had invaded Poland
- Soldiers were asking doctors and nurses to join.
She was caught when she was left to keep guard during one of the more dangerous missions they had been sent on.
Major Rugemer then asked her to be his house keeper.
She then HId 12 Jewish people in his basement
After the Holocaust Ended, she wrote a book.
