ISAAC NEWTON

BACKGROUND:

• Date of birth: December 25th, 1642
• Place of birth: Woolthorpe, United Kingdom
• Date of death: March 31,1727

CHILDHOOD:

• Newton was born into a poor family, Newton's real father died 2 months before Isaac was born.
• Isaac's real mother remarried forcing Isaac to live with grandma for couple of years until age of 10.

EDUCATION:

• Attended Trinity College in Cambridge, England.
• Newton's aim at degree was in law then switching after he realized he couldn't to study the astronomy of Galilleo.

Science Career:
While investigating using glass prism he came to concluded that light is composed of particles.

Career Cont:
Newton soon after determined the motion of the moon, the falling of an apple from a tree, and the relationship between pendulum and sling.

MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENT:

DIFFICULITES:

• Newton was unable to take criticism well and denying the fact that sometimes his work had shortcomings, newton faced a nervous breakdown.
• Also shortly after his mother died in 1679 making his breakdown even worse.

WORLD BENEFIT:

• Newton has laid the blueprints for motion by creating the 3 laws of motion which is still used by students everywhere.
