  • Muhammad is the prophet and founder of Islam.According to Islamic doctrine,he was God's Messenger,sent to confirm the essential teachings of monotheism preached previously by Adam,Abraham,Moses,Jesus,and other prophets.He is viewed as the final prophet of God in all the main branches of Islam,though some modern denominations diverge from this belief.Muhammad united Arabia into a single Muslim polity and his teachings,practices,and the Quran form the basis of Islamic religious belief.

MUHAMMED EARLY LIFE

  • Born approximately 570 CE (Year of the Elephant) in the Arabian city of Mecca, Muhammad was orphaned at an early age; he was raised under the care of his paternal uncle Abu Talib. Periodically, he would seclude himself in a mountain cave named Hira for several nights of prayer;

  • Pillar 1:shahadah (Creed)believes in only one faith
  • Pillar 2:salat(Prayer)praying is the way of life for muslims
  • Pillars 3:Zakat (Charity)The idea of this pillar is to share the wealth Allah Gave you
  • Pillar 4:Sawm (Fasting)this is a time during Ramadan that they do not eat or drink and improve their lives by praying

  • Mosques have No seats,They need the space to perform their ra'kas.

  • Each Mosque Has a hollow hole so you know which way to face and pray
