  • Trade and travel were became less delicate and precarious; they both flourished.
  • Trade was increased due to Sharia, an Islamic law derived from the Koran, because it protected commerce and imposed stiff punishments.

  • Islams economy relied heavily on trade of the goods they produce , such as vegetables , cloth , and spices.

  • The major crop that was grown in the region was cotton and silk due to the moist climate and fertile soil
  • This crop was sold along the silk road and was in high demand. 
  • The Islam people were one of the best at makeing silk and cotton cloths.

Landscape

  • The majority of the people in Islam were farmers because of the landscape of the region.
  • The landscape in the region was ideal for farmers to grow silk and cotton.
  • The region was very humid and a little moist which is perfect for crops.
