PRESENTATION OUTLINE

ISLAMIC TRADE IMPACT ON SOCIETY AND ECONOMY

BY JOHN BISHOP AND JUSTIN CHEN

Trading in Islamic countries tend to be centered where Muslims are located.

Muslims are centered close together in groups.

In turn, Muslims are centered close together on trade routes in order to have a good economy.

However, trade routes attract non-islamists from all over and create tension.

Socially, trade routes that attract non muslims force muslims to either allow these new people (unlikely) or move.

Trading has given Muslims opportunities in their homeland to advance however has created challenges as well socially.
