ISLAND OF THE BLUE DOLPHINS

If I was going to stay
with Karana for a week
I would pack

1.Clothes (Depending on weather)
2. A water bottle
3. A knife to defend myself
4. A compass to navagate around the island

5. A sleeping bag so I don't have to sleep on a rock
6. Matches to start a fire
7. First aid kit in case I get hurt
8. A Flashlight for at night
9. A gun to hunt with
10. A umbrella in case it rains

New Ending
So then the next day. I chilled out at my house. But something different happened the next day. The people from my tribe came back for me and my brother. But it was only me. It took us 5 days to get to my new home. When we got there it was a great place.

Why I think this will happen
I think this would happen because they have not come back yet. Because why wouldn't you come back for kids.

Why I like this quote
Sometimes we watch things and could care less, but when that one thing suddenly becomes important your realize, your really had seen nothing.

I believe that this would be a good motto to live by because we don't always appreciate the things we have right in front of us until it's gone.

I gathered the most curious news of all. I swear I saw a Aleut girl. I told the hunters she was dressed in skins just like the men . She had a fur cap. With thick hair that fell to her waist. No one believed me. They all laughed at me. I gave the village a word of good fortune on a stormy afternoon.

While I was never idle. I'd gone to a ledge on the eastern part of the island to gather shellfish. As I was climbing the cliff on the way home , I heard a loud noise. At first I could not see what caused the sound. I thought it was just the wind echoing in the caves . As I was about to leave I noticed silvery shapes on the floor of the cave. The shapes moved and I saw that it was a school of large white bass they were as big as

As I was. Since they were being pursued by killer whales they decided to escape by swimming to the shore. But since they forgot the depth of the water they got tossed onto the rocky ledge. I dropped my basket of shellfish and set out for the village. Since I was so out of breath when I got to the village, I had to point in the direction of the shore.

The women were cooking supper but they gathered around waiting for me to speak. I told them a school of white bass. They asked where , where! I told them they were on the rocks. Maybe a dozen , maybe even more than a dozen, before I could finish speaking, they were all running toward the shore , hoping that they could see the fish in time .

They got to the cliff and looked down. The bass were still there. But because the tide was so high the biggest waves were lopping over them. One by one they hauled the fish out of reach of the tide. Two women carried a single fish which was heavy and the same size. They lifted it up the cliff and brought it back home.

I am getting her iron copper and wood for her to make weapons with.

I am getting her these item because she says even tho she watched her father make weapons she made many, many errors and knew little about how to actually make them and it took Karana many hours to make it!
