Island of the blue dolphins
Summary: Chapter 1
The Aleuts arrived at the island of the blue dolphins in search of otter. There is a girl named Karana who has a younger brother named Ramo.
Summary: Chapter 2
A Gallas-at member refused to give a fish to an Aleut. The Aleut got upset .
Summary: Chapter 3
The Aleuts took the otter but didn't give the goods to the Gallas-ats.
Summary: Chapter 4
The Aleuts were going to leave. Before they left, the chief talked to the leader of the Aleuts to find out why he didn't pay for the otter. The Aleuts got upset and killed most of the men in Gallas-ats, including the chief, Karana's dad.
Summary: Chapter 5
They replaced the dead chief with a old man named Kimki. He made the women do the men's jobs. He was planning to ride a canoe to a place he has once been to when he was a child.
Summary: Chapter 6
Kimki didn't return to the island so Matasaip took his place. A ship came carrying the news that they were going to go to another island.
Summary: Chapter 7
The Gallas-ats were leaving the island when they found Ramo out on the island. Being a good big sister, Karana went to go fetch him. Unfortunately, they got stranded on the island.

Ryker Bolduc is a six grader at Wood Elementary. He lives in Arlington, Texas and was born on August 31, 2002. He has two brothers, Colton and Maximillilion, but he just calls him Max. He enjoys sports, video games, hanging out with friends, and playing the viola. His favorite food is pizza and his favorite book is The Lightning Thief. One day he will hope to become an engineer.

Grace Josephson is a sixth grader at Wood Elementary. She has no siblings but does have 2 very amazing parents. She loves to figure skate, swim, draw, and play her beautiful violin. She likes a variety of foods, especially if it has cheese in it. Her favorite book is LITTLE WOMEN and favorite movie is THE SOUND OF MUSIC. She hopes to become a gold medalist in the Olympics in figure skating later in the future.
