Chapter 1

• 12 year old girl
• Island of the Blue Dolphins
• Has a brother named Ramo
• Meets the Aleuts
• The Aleuts make a deal with her tribe

Chapter 2

• The Aleuts set up camp
• There were strong winds
• The Aleuts started their hunt for the otter

Chapter 3

• the Aleuts always hunted no matter the weather
• the people in the village keep track of the otter the Aleuts catch
• the villagers found the Aleuts trying to leave without paying

Chapter 4

• a storm is brewing
• Aleuts are trying to leave with out paying
• The storm hit the island
• A war started
• many of the villagers died

Chapter 5

• only 15 men left in the village
• 7 of them were old men
• there were no women who hadn't lost someone
• the storm lasted 2 days
• they burned the dead Aleuts 

Chapter 6

• Kimki had been gone for 1 moon
• Kimki did not return 
• there was scarce water supply
• if the Aleuts came back they would flee

Chapter 7

• they took nothing with them when they had to flee
• the ship came and take them to another island
• Ramo went back to get his fishing spear
• Karana went back to get Ramo
• The ship left without them
