Barry was trapped in a storm not an ordinary storm Hurricane Katrina.

Hurricane Katrina was a category five storm

Barry and his family are trying to get to the super dome
But Cleo gets very sick on the car ride so they go back home and rest and finally fall asleep

When Barry got up he heard a weird noise and assumed it was his dad but when he got up and took one single step.......

Water came in and Barry got swept off his feet and was calling dad dad dad and he came and got Barry and took the family into the attic

Then Barry's dad smashed a hole in the roof with an axe and got on the roof and Barry could barely open his eyes because of the cold hard rain.

Barry and Cleo are squished between their parents but somehow Barry falls off the roof and here's a dog.

So he got the dog and it was his neighbor Abe's dog Cruz.later Cruz fell out the window and Barry went after him and they found a roof floating in the water.

Once they were on the roof someone helped them.
