The 2 significant events are there were 30,000 prospectors flooded into British Columbia from all over Canada. Also a man in tattered clothes found gold at the sandbar at the Fraser River. “He shouted we’ve found gold!”

They went through Dyea and over the Chilkoot Pass. They also went through the Skagway and over the White Horse.
