Between the north and south there can be a considerable difference in temperature, particularly during the winter. In Milan it could be −2°C and snowing, while at the same time 8°C in Rome and 20°C in Palermo.

I chose to cover Italy because of the food. I have always loved real italian food, not the Olive Garden knock offs, but the way the italian people bring everyone around the table and make a day of it.

The culture is quite a beautiful thing and I simply wanted to know more about it. I have fallen in love with Italy.
