The term “networking” usually brings to mind thoughts of leisure-suited sales people, business cards in hand, trolling any large groups they can find to get their next sales prospect. I had heard the facilitator speak briefly at the opening keynote and didn’t get that feeling from him at all. In fact, he seemed genuine enough in his opening remarks that I decided to go to the session. I’m glad I did. Here’s what I learned about what networking should really be about.
