• Ivan was the oldest of eleven children
• He was seriously injured as a child

IVAN WORKED HARD

• He got a degree in Candidate of Natural Sciences
• He graduated from the Medical Military Academy with a gold medal award for his research
• He went to Germany and studied about the digestion about dogs
• Ivan later became a professor of Pharmacology at the Military Medical Academy for 5 years
