The Tsarnaev family was one of many granted asylum in the U.S. to escape the atrocities of war.

The Tsarnaevs against the U.S. Government, the Tsarnaevs against the Marathon spectators and participants and the Tsarnaevs against the police were all occuring conflicts throughout this story.
