JEWISH AND JAPANESE INTERNMENT CAMPS
Jewish Concentration Camps
A Jewish concentration camp is where Jewish people were kept against their will. Jewish camps began when Hitler became a leader. Later on, the Nazis created the camps to show Europe they have control and power.
Japanese Internment Camps
Japanese internment camps were formed when Japan bombed Pearl Harbor. This made the Americans scared that the Japanese Americans were spies. Eventually, they put them in camps so they couldn't tell secrets.
The Difference Between Both Camps.
JAPANESE INTERMENT CAMPS
- They lived in horse stalls ,but eventually had barracks
- The children were able to go to school
- They got to wear what they brought
- They had breakfast, lunch, and dinner
- The americans goal was to keep the japanese americans from the west coast
JEWISH CONCENTRATION CAMPS
- People were physically harmed
- People were also starving
- The jews lived in cramped bunker beds
- They had bad clothes, not enough for winter
- The nazis goal was to kill all the jews
BOTH INTERNMENT CAMPS
- They both happened in world war two
- They both had poor caring
- They both had to do work
- They both held innocent people
- Prisoners from both camps had their rights taken away
We can try to avoid another world war by choosing a good leader. If another world war occurs then we should fight for our right of freedom.
