MY CHARACTER TRAITS

  • A character trait from Norman Mineta is upsetting.
  • A character trait " The Bracelet " is for mama is positive.
  • A character
  • A character trait for '' Wartime Mistakes" is fearful.

EVIDENCE FROM " WAR TIME MISTAKES.

  • " the government didn't think of us as citizens".
  • The government didn't give one thought one thought that Japanese Americans weren't loyal Americans citizens.
  • " what you see on the outside might not be what's on the inside".

EVIDENCE FOR WAR TIME MISTAKES PEACE TIME APOLOGIZES.

  • The character trait I picked for " Wartime Mistakes" is fearful.
  • The quote I used was " But the month earlier, president Franklin D. Roosevelt had issued executive Order 9066, which drastically changed the life's of Imamoto and 120,000 other people of Japanese ancestry living in the United States".
  • I chose the word fearful because it was a devastating time in 1942. Japanese Americans felt like they were caught in the middle.

My Reflection
How we as Americans should reflect on the Japanese Americans should honor them for their bravery . For everything that has happened to the Japanese Americans is a time that no one should forget. They have been through losing their property to losing their pride. They have been to interment camps with very little apartments. Japanese Americans had left their jobs because of the inappropriate actions of the governments. Japanese Americans have faced many bumps in the road . We as Americans should honor and remember that devastating time in history.
