• The people of Japan eat a variety of food. They eat rice, sushi, and MANY other things.

Art

• Japanese art is pretty well known all over the world. Many you will know of the famous masterpiece called "The Great Wave".

Poetry

• The most well known Japanese poetry style is a Haiku. Hakius have 5 syllables in the first line, 7 in the second, and 5 in the third

Music

• Modern Japanese pop music is known as J-Pop and is pretty popular around the world

Anime

• Anime is a very special branch of art. Anime and Manga both originate from Japan, and are still mostly made there.
