• Killed 17 males
• Dismemberment of victims
• Necrophilia
• Cannibalist

CHILDHOOD

• Relatively normal childood
• Fasinated by the dismemberment of animals
• Became withdrawn at the age 10
• Began drinking heavily in highschool
• Repressed his feelings of attraction towards men untill he was older

WHAT DID DAHMER DO?

• Began killing at the age of 18
• Arrested for indecent exposure in 1982 and 1986
• Convinced young men to accompany him to his apartment
• After killing them he dimembered the bodies
• Kept the dismembered body parts and practiced necrophilia

DAHMER GETS CAUGHT

• While attempting to murder again the victim escaped
• Dahmer was reported to the police and they searched his apartment
• He was charged with the murder of 17 people
• Dahmer pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity during the trial in 1992
• Sentenced to 15 life terms in 1992

What was wrong with dahmer?

• During his trial he changed his plea to guilty by virtue of insanity
• Most psychologist say Dahmer new right from wrong and was consciously aware of what he was doing
• Psychologist agree Dahmer killed to satisfy his need for a totally submissive partner
