  • He is the 37th Secretary of State
  • He Served 16 years in Illinois general Assembly
  • Jesse White is the longest serving Secretsry of State
  • He is also the first African American to hold the position

  • He served in the 101st Airborne division in Vietnam.
  • Jesse White also served as a national guard for two years
  • He is 80 Years old and was signed for the Cubs.
  • He founded the Jesse White tumbling team for underprivileged children
  • Worked for 33 years in CPS. He played all city baseball and basketball
