The Sandstone

There once was a floor tile named Jethro

Jethro is a very happy tile right now.

Though he is a tile now, he had to go on a long journey to be one.

Jethro's life started as a sediment. Then he was naturally glued together and had to undergo extreme pressure underground. This is when Jethro is turned into sandstone.

Jethro is a fine grained, smooth, small crystallized, piece of sandstone that is made from quartz and felspar, which are minerals.

He wound up here in a very large sandstone quarry. This is where he was mined up and shipped to a factory.

In this factory he was polished into a smooth tile and was shipped to his very happy home.
