Jewish and Christian Creation Stories

Published on Dec 08, 2015

Comparison of the creation stories for the Torah and the Bible.

PRESENTATION OUTLINE

Jewish and Christian Creation

Skylar Blackburn

Jews and Christians look at the story of creation from similar eyes.

Both the Bible and Torah teach that God created everything.

In both accounts the story of creation explains why God is so all powerful and our "father".

Both books believe in Adam and Eve as the "parents", but the Toran adds in Lilith who lived separate (Jewish Creation Story).

Each book explains why we do not live in paradise using the story of Adam, Eve, and the Tree of Knowledge.

Both religions use the story of Adam, Eve, and the Tree of Knowledge to express why we must follow God.

Both use the reperatition for God saying "let there" and then those things would be to emphasise that God was the creator.
