FAMILY

  • Johannes Brahms parents are Johanna Nissen and Johann Brahms.
  • He had two siblings there names were Friedrich and Elise.
  • His family was poor.

CHILDHOOD

  • He was born in Hamburg Germany .
  • At six years old he created his own method of writing music in order to get the method of writing music in order.
  • At the age of seven he began studying piano under Otto Cossel.
  • His father thought him piano and violin.
  • To help out his family, Brahms gave music lessons and played the piano in taverns and local dance halls while in his early teens.

HIS FAMOUS LULLABY

The words of this lullaby have been taken from a German folk poem called “Wiegenlied: Guten Abend, Gute Nacht” which further translated into English as “Good evening, good night”. The melody of this song is so popular that this song is used widely by the parents to make their little ones fast asleep.

  • One of the greatest composers in the Romantic era, Brahms' astonishing mastery of musical genres and techniques was heightened by his ability to imbue his works with emotion. Among the usual suspects of well-known classical pieces, it's rare to find a work by Brahms
  • An early starter, Brahms began composing when he was just 11. However, when he was older, he found them a bit embarrassing and destroyed the majority of them.

HE WAS BURIED AND HOW HE DIED

  • He was buried at central cemetery.
  • Liver carcinoma has been mentioned as the musician's cause of death several times. But now it appears that it was neuroendocrine pancreatic cancer with liver metastases and liver failure.
