  • His father was a 7th generation musician
  • Lost both of his parents at 9
  • Married his cousin, Maria Barbara Bach, and had 7 children
  • He has been to prison
  • In 1700 he was granted a scholarship at St. Michael’s School, the school he went to as a child
  • He is best known for playing the Organ
  • He is 6’3

PARENTS

  • His mother died on May 1st, 1694 when he was nine and his father died nine months later on February 24th, 1695
  • His father died because of sewage waste disposal
  • After both his parents died his eldest brother, Johann Christoph, looked after him and taught him how to play the piano a little

DEATHS

  • He died of a stroke
  • He died at Leipzig, Germany
  • A few of his children died at birth or close to birth(not even a year)
