- • Died from illness fever
- • German mathematician, astronomer, and astrologer
Early Life
- Grew up in a wealthy family
- Sickly child but great at math
- Contracted Smallpox as a child and almost died
- Survived Smallpox but lost 40% of his vision
Education
- Attended Tübingen University and seminary at Maulbroon
- Studied philosophy, theology, and math
- Became known for being an excellent mathematician and astrologer
Adult Life and Family
• Met Barbra Müller in 1595
• Married in 1597 on April 27
• Had 2 children the first years they were married but both children died as babies
• Had 3 other children, Sussana, Frederich, and Ludwig
