Day 1
The journey began on the ship Mattew. I learned how to navigate from Italian seamen merchants, so I thought I would be a good person for the job.

Day 2
We start sailing and as we are I think about why I wanted to do this because of all of the hardships the crew and I are facing. I'm on this trip for the reason of trade and finding a quicker way to the Indies.

As we are sailing we see this big storm up ahead. Seeing as there is no way to go around it we attempt to turn back and get as much distance between us and the storm.
