- Was caught and sent to jail for 9 1/2 years.

ARRESTED AGAIN!
- Traced by police and arrested
- Pierpont and Mackeley are executed
- John Dillinger is given the death penalty
- Crown point is boasted as inescapable
ESCAPE II
- Dillinger apparently carved wooden gun and painted it with shoe polish
- He then staged a breakout
- Fbi started a manhunt
BACK AT IT
- Within 3 days of his breakout, Dillinger robs a bank in South Dakota, robs another 9 days later
- Dillinger got plastic surgery because of police on his tail
WOMAN IN RED
- A woman threatened with deportation told the fbi that Dillinger was going to see a movie with a prostitute at the biograph theater
- Would wear red for fbi to identify her
DEATH OF A LEGEND
- FBI agents waited outside the theater for Dillinger to exit
- When he exited, Dillinger whipped out his gun, but 3 FBI agents killed him first
