DESCRIPTION OF UPBRINGING

  • John Wayne Gacy was the second child and only son of three children born to Marion Elaine Robinson (mother) and father John Stanley Gacy.
  • His siblings were (older sister) Joanne Gacy and younger sister Karen Gacy.
  • John was born In Chicago, Illinois on March 17,1942.

  • He wasn't very popular at school. Due to health problems.
  • He grew up with lots of health issues including a blood clot in his brain and a heart ailment.
  • His father was an abusive alcoholic. His father constantly made fun of him, calling him queer and prissy.
  • His father dying of cirrhosis of the liver on Christmas morning

  • In 1968 Gacy was convicted of sexual assault.
  • In 1971 he was convicted of sexual assault again.
  • In 1980 he was finally convicted for killing 33 young males.

DESCRIPTION OF SIGNATURE

  • After convincing or capturing his victims and bringing them home he would begin by demonstrating a magic trick that involved the use of handcuffs. This trick would eventually end with the victim hopelessly restrained to a bed or chair. Gacy would then proceed to stuff various clothes in their mouth so they couldn't alert the neighbors. Before Gacy would kill his vitims Gacy would Rape his victims and force them to do sexual favors usually until they were basically unconscious. Once his victims were defenseless, Gacy would usually strangle his victims. Gacy admitted his favorite killing method was the "rope trick".

PUNISHMENT GIVEN AND IF THEY WERE EXECUTED.

  • John Wayne Gacy was sentenced multiple death penalty and life sentences.
  • He was executed by lethal injection on May 10, 1994.
