How did Jonah Survive?

Natural

• there is air in a whales stomach
• if he was swallowed whole and digestion hadn't begun he could survive a short while

Miracle

• The fish was prepared and sent by God
• The storm was controlled by God
• Jonah was protected by God in the stomach of the fish

RESURRECTION

• Jonah could have suffocated and died
• and been resurrected before he was spit out by the fish

Was Jonah swallowed by a sperm whale?

• They aren't meat eaters
• Jonah would have been spit up due to indigestion
• This whale is found where the incident may have occurred
• it is theoretically possible
