CUBANS FLEE COMMUNISM

• Fidel Castro came into power
• Was gonna create a democracy
• Once in power he created a communist dictatorship
• So people fled from Cuba.

THE FLIGHT OF AFGHAN REFUGEES

• IN 1979, SOME CITIZENS OF AFGHANISTAN FLED THEIR COUNTRY AFTER THE SOVIETS INVADED AND A LONG CIVIL WAR BEGAN.
• People left because the soviet invade Afghanistan .

BURUNDI AND RWANDA

• In 1994, bitter fighting began in Central America between the Hutu and the Tutsi tribes of Burundi and Rwanda.
• The Tutsi tribe were taller to the Burundi tribe.

GUEST WORKERS IN GERMANY

• After world war 2,many workers attracted by high wages, left turkey to work as guest workers
• Later they came back but large numbers continued to remain in Germany
• Many lived in the ghetto
• Their household and education are below average
