JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT
In this musical, the story of Joseph from Genesis is recreated...in song
Joseph, one of the many sons of Jacob is favorited, and in turn makes his many brothers jealous. So his brothers sell him into slavery in Egypt
In Egypt, Joseph impresses his owner, until he is accused of putting a move on his wife. As punishment, Joseph is sent to jail.
Joseph is called out of jail to interpret the Pharaoh's dream, and through Joseph, God does. Impressed, Pharaoh makes Joseph his 2nd in command
Suffering from the famine in Canaan, Jacob sends his sons to Egypt to ask for some of that food they stored up. After a test, Joseph forgives his brothers and the whole family comes to Egypt.
